Graduates will be able to determine and assess various functions of a woody plant, including dysfunctions caused by abiotic and biotic factors, and to take appropriate measures to improve its condition. Besides, they will learn to detect and classify the human impact on the environment and woody plants and their populations, and propose conceptual remedies. Graduates will be able to apply theoretical knowledge to normative, organizational, design, technical and technological procedures in arboriculture: to propose, design, and implement measures to maintain woody vegetation by differentiated and environment-friendly biotechnological methods. Graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of positions both in the state and private sector.

The programme is taught in Czech, and it is also open to students from abroad who received a Czech government scholarship.
